About

1to1 Movement hosts America's Finest Film Fest because San Diego is worth celebrating. It's an opportunity for us to bring together some of our community's most creative makers - of films, drinks, food, art, and much more - and to enjoy it all with over a thousand of our friends and neighbors. Although the films, crafts, food, beverages, and music we curate showcase a diverse set of topics and causes, we believe that only by being our best selves can we come together to create a thriving community, which is the story we work to tell.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Well, friend, that depends on what screening you purchased your tickets for. Doors open at 4:45 for the 5pm screening but we recommend arriving earlier to check-in and grab a beer. If you're coming to the 8pm show, we recommend coming at 6:30 to catch the Maker's Market, grab some drinks and food.

TELL US ABOUT THIS VENUE

First off, that's not a question. But ok. Irwin Jacobs Hall is right off the 805 in Sorrento Valley, a quick 12 minutes from downtown San Diego (we tested it). The venue sports a lovely indoor/outdoor reception area and the theater is probably the most high tech facility in San Diego (with the largest 4k screen in CA). In short, the venue is dope.

PARKING. WHAT'S THE DEAL?

Good question. Parking is absolutely free and abundant. So, parking is a non-issue. Next.

CASH? CREDIT? SUP?

Either works for food/beer/wine but we can't confirm that ALL of the Maker's Market vendors will be card capable. Most/all should though.

WHAT'S TO EAT/DRINK?

There are food options for everyone. Don't worry about food. Come hungry.

There'll be whiskey from Henebery, mead from Golden Coast Mead, and local craft beer for the thirsty.

AND WHAT'S THIS MAKER'S MARKET?

There'll be 35+ local vendors showcasing their goods for sale. All sorts of stuff.

RAIN OR SHINE? AND LET'S TALK MORE ABOUT THE WEATHER.

Ok. Yes, film fest goes on rain or shine. Because it's indoors. And it doesn't rain indoors. But also all additional activities will go on regardless of weather and things will be fine and the world won't end if it isn't 75 and perfect. But who are we kidding, it'll be 75 and perfect.
